I don't think this will affect me as much as it will others simply because i'm able to create more than enough spin with the wedges currently available. Sometimes I even get too much spin. But I am well aware that this is not the case for a lot of people. Those who heavily rely on the grooves of the wedges to create spin are likely to suffer on courses with hard greens and tough pin placements. We'll probably see the average putts per round increase as a result, such that those who are used to sticking the pin will have to face a 60% chance of missing the 8-10 ft putt their looking at. I've heard some say it will have little affect on the Pros--however, I am certain we will see a decent increase of frustration on the green.
